At only 16 years old, Joseph is one of the youngest tenors in the world. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) and has been singing for the past 10 years. He has an extensive operatic repertoire as a soloist, and also performs duets with his 20-year-old sister Lauren, a gifted soprano. The siblings are international Concert Artists who have performed at major venues and have been featured on numerous radio and television programs over the last 9 years.
The Musumeci's have performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to Hollywood to Times Square to "Donald Trump's Billionaire Birthday Bash" at the Taj Mahal Casino where they were the only live musical entertainment. Most recently, they performed with symphony orchestra in the world famous Tokyo International Forum in Tokyo, Japan. They will return to Japan for national tours in 2008.
Joseph has been privileged to sing the U.S. National Anthem for countless professional sport events, ceremonies and special government functions. His recent performances at the Citizen's Bank Park for a Phillies Baseball game (over 50,000 attended - pictured above) and at the Wachovia Center for a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game (over 20,000 attended) - resulted in thunderous applause and preceded victories in both venues.
Joseph is also a "Straight A" student, a percussionist for both his high school orchestra and band, as well as a fine actor and athlete. He has a natural gift for learning languages and is already singing in 5 languages. His beautiful voice, charisma and impeccable stage presence consistently captivate and mesmerize audiences worldwide.
